FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
COLUMBUS – State Senator Jim Hughes and State Representatives Mike Duffey and Anne Gonzales today announced their endorsement of State Representative Stephanie Kunze for Ohio’s 16th Senate District seat.
“Stephanie is a thoughtful, compassionate leader who has been a great representative for her district,” said Sen. Hughes. “I have enjoyed working with Stephanie to pass meaningful legislation that benefits the people of Central Ohio. I can’t think of anyone else better suited to be my replacement in the Ohio Senate than Stephanie Kunze.”
“Representative Kunze is a friend and an effective legislator with a track record of support for the issues my district’s residents care about, including support for Dublin and Worthington schools TPP funding,” said Rep. Mike Duffey. “She will be a great partner in the Ohio Senate.”
“Stephanie is committed to doing what is right and is a hard working legislator who cares about the residents and small business owners she represents,” added Rep. Anne Gonzales. “She has voted to pass legislation that brought tax relief and sponsored bills to protect Ohio’s children from e-cigarettes and addictive substances. She will be a strong voice for Central Ohio in the Senate.”
Kunze announced her candidacy for the 16th Senate District in October. Since then Kunze has picked up the endorsements of Central Ohio Congressmen Pat Tiberi and Steve Stivers, as well as the Republican Senate Campaign Committee.
